AddressWe are currently seeking a Management Accountant (Financial Business Partner) to join Queensland Health's team in South Brisbane on an initial contract basis with the potential for extension. As a Management Accountant, you will be working closely with the leadership team, providing financial support, will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the public health system in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling role responsibilities in alignment with QPS values
- Developing a robust understanding of the business to provide relevant financial reporting and analysis
- Building productive relationships across finance and with stakeholders
- Ensuring integrity of financial data and systems
- Providing verbal and written financial reporting and analysis
- Maintaining knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Overseeing team activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- Ability to work onsite and remotely as needed
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
