AddressCoonamble Aboriginal Health Service (CAHS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Aboriginal andTorres Strait Islander Outreach Worker. This role will work closely with the Indigenous Health Project Officer within the Integrated Team Care program and will be based at Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS), NSW.
Aboriginal andTorres Strait Islander Outreach Workers play a vital role in the primary health workforce. They will undertake non-clinical tasks such as; community liaison, administration support, provide practice assistance and provide feedback regarding access barriers. The Aboriginal andTorres Strait Islander Outreach Worker will undergo continuous training to fulfil this role.
