About the role
The six-month Graduate Midwifery Program provides an opportunity for consolidation of skills and a supported transition to the role of midwife at Eastern Health. Participants are employed in maternity services and are supported by the Learning and Teaching team.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be eligible to register as a midwife with AHPRA prior to commencement of the program
- Be due to complete the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery, or equivalent postgraduate program
- Possess a strong commitment to high quality care
- Have the ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
