Access & Control Systems OfficerMelbourne Grammar School has an exciting opportunity for an Access & Control Systems Officer to join our expanding team.The Access and Security Officer is engaged to support the Property team carrying out scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance work to the School’s building fabric, services and infrastructure. The Access and Security Officer will be required to assist with minor works projects, undertaken by the Property team.This position is located at our Senior School Campus in South Yarra but may be required to work at other MGS locations from time-to-time.Context Melbourne Grammar School is one of Australia’s leading independent schools with an inclusive, community-focused culture. You willMaintain and ensure the safe operation of the Schools physical security, access systems and assets.Maintain the Schools database and stock storage of keys, access cards and related items.Responsibility for the allocation and return of security assets to school community members.Programming of the Schools access-controlled doors and assets through the School’s programming system, including after-hours access requests and activities.Coordinate the Schools security guard contractors.Maintain the Schools evacuation management system and the Schools contractor management system.Complete Fix-its allocated by Management or the Leading Hand and any other minor repair works identified while undertaking allocated tasks, ensuring priority tasks are actioned accordingly Applications close Thursday 21 March 2024 Please note, Melbourne Grammar staff must hold or be able to obtain a valid Working with Children Check.Melbourne Grammar School reserves the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date.
