We are excited to announce the opening of new SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) and SIL (Supported Independent Living) homes in the Central Coast - Newcastle area. We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to lead the establishment and operation of these homes, ensuring they provide a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for our residents.
The Role
The Accommodation Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our new SDA/SIL homes, from setup to day-to-day operations. You will ensure that the homes operate smoothly, providing a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of new SDA/SIL homes, coordinating fitouts, compliance checks, and service setup.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring high-quality care and support for residents.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote independence, dignity, and respect for all residents.
- Build and maintain a team of support staff, providing training and development to ensure the highest levels of care.
- Work closely with residents, families, and other stakeholders to ensure accommodation services meet individual needs and preferences.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure sustainable and high-quality service provision.
- Experience in disability accommodation services management, with knowledge of SDA and SIL frameworks.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development and empowerment.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
