An Opportunity for a full time Contracts & Tender Manager is available to join Sydney's Leading Developer based in Western Suburbs.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the Development process of commercial and industrial projects. Experience Project Management within construction is essential and must have the ability to oversee all existing and potential projects.
- Your duties will include but will not be limited to design coordination, tenders, budget control, cost saving proposal, OH& S control, trade co-ordination, letting out contracts, contract administration, decision making, drafting scope of works , budget control and programming.
- Co-ordinate the review and timely approval (or dispute) of payment claims submitted by subcontractors for the project and preparation of Payment Schedules (Security of Payments Act)
- Review of legitimacy of, and undertake the assessment of, subcontractor variations in conjunction with the construction teams
- Implementation of forecasting and cost control processes / strategy
- Produce timely and accurate cost analysis to understand the basis of any variance (positive or negative) and provide early warning when forecasts deviate from budget
- To communicate effectively with site managers, design staff, and project stakeholders
- Capability to work across multiple projects effectively at different stages of construction
- You must be good with coordinating the on-site trade activities on the project to accord with the program requirements.
- You will prepare the tender package for subcontracts and raise and resolves RFI's with subcontractors, Architects, Consultants and Engineers.
- You must be fully conversant with MS office and MS Projects.
- Knowledge with Bluebeam, Aconex and Revit or similar is desirable.
