Ceremony of Roses (COR) is a merchandising company based out of Los Angeles, California with an Australian & New Zealand outpost situated within the Sony Music Entertainment Australia offices (Sydney). Founded in 2017 by partner Brad Scoffern, COR sets itself apart from traditional merchandising by offering clients an elevated and specialised branding experience.

About the Role
Reporting to Senior Director, Merchandising and Talent Representation, as an Account Manager at Ceremony of Roses ANZ you will be responsible for leading and managing a select number of client accounts, as well as supporting the senior management and international accounts team with COR's roster of high-profile clients. Though the role's responsibilities are wide ranging and ever changing, this predominantly includes executing strategic initiatives, including the coordination of design, production, sale, and fulfilment of product, as well as the coordination of merchandise for artist tours, retail sales, events, pop-ups, and ecommerce opportunities. You will be the main point of contact for some of ANZ's biggest acts. This is a detail-oriented role where you will be expected to set and execute on timelines in coordination with other team members, while working closely with colleagues to contribute to and formulate strategic initiatives and business development (revenue generating) opportunities.
Though this role does not have direct reports, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to bring people together and drive outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Deliver exceptional ANZ client and partner outcomes through first-class account management.
- Track, coordinate, and report on the following:
- Your assigned accounts & clients and other projects and understand each client's needs, goals, objectives and business, from back to front.
- Work closely with the domestic and international design and production teams, to develop exciting, cutting edge and responsible products.
- Work closely with operations and logistics managers to ensure responsible development, production, delivery, and fulfilment of products.
- Work with Sony Music marketing managers (and internal team) to develop detailed and tailored year-round account plans for each client.
- Lead initiatives set forth by senior staff for in-person and online sales events and opportunities.
- Liaise with senior management to assist with forecasting, strategic direction, and implementation, plus expectation management.
- Liaise with business management and finance departments.
- Be an active member of the COR international accounts team.
- Lend support and manage relationships between client and COR both on a local and international client level, including expectations, timelines, strategy and execution.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience or knowledge in merchandising, sales, ecommerce, business development or brand management, or experience in a lateral industry.
- Low-level experience in B2B or brand business development.
- Experience in client or account management.
- A strategic mindset and can work with various inputs of data to make smart business decisions.
- Well organised and ability to manage multiple projects / clients at any one time. Comfortable in meeting deadlines and managing expectations.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to prepare and confidently present project plans, insights, and occasionally difficult news to internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-starter and very proactive.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and interested in developing new and innovative ways to drive sales & revenue - commercially minded.
- Can demonstrate ability to work externally, but also internally, across departments and forge longstanding and effective business relationships.
- Familiarity with D2C strategies, including a basic understanding of Shopify platform.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Creative Suite, Outlook & TEAMS.
- Proven experience in a role that required strict confidentiality, outstanding organisational skills, and ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.
- Ability to travel as needed.
