Implement a structured call cycle and sales pipeline aimed at achieving both new business and account management targets (this role is a 50/50 split)

Through exceptional pricing management you'll balance customer retention with margin uplift by leveraging the value of the Elgas PSO and the excellent service you provide as an Account Manager

Additional responsibilities in this role also include:

  • Take the lead in identifying, developing, and commercializing new B2B LPG business prospects, primarily through cold calling, whilst managing and retaining your existing account portfolio of large and strategic customers
  • Skillfully move customers through the sales process by selling the value of the Elgas PSO and utilizing your strong negotiation and objection handling abilities
  • Deliver market leading service to all of your customers by ensuring every customer touch point is a positive experience and Elgas deliver on our PSO in a safe and timely manner
  • Ensure your customers always have a current supply agreement and you maintain an ongoing pipeline of customer re-signs
  • Consistently drive to meet or exceed your sales volume and margin targets
  • Provide monthly reports to your sales manager, to highlight your activities, successes, and key market insights, offering a clear view of your contributions to our business goals
  • Collaborate closely with your local branch and team members. Exchange leads and work collectively to achieve the new business, margin and service goals for your area, creating a culture of teamwork and shared success
  • Consistently maintain data, customer information, opportunities, and wins in our CRM system

What makes you great

  • You possess 2-3 years industrial gas field sales experience - preferred but not essential
  • Strong sales, account management and business development skills will aid you well in this position
  • Excellence in time management means you have a result focused approach and you take initiative
  • You are a natural negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Your skills in time management, planning, relationship building and consistent follow up will be crucial to your success
  • Holder of a clean and valid driver’s license
