Role Overview:
As an Account Manager reporting directly to the Head of Customer Success, you'll leverage your experience in account and contract management within the logistics sector to drive retention and growth strategies. Your expertise in freight operations, analytical skills, and superior communication abilities will be critical in strengthening our customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Customer Success to develop and grow your
portfolio of customers (who all genuinely appreciate the value we add to their business). - Foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the customer's
organisation. - Manage continuous improvement programs to enhance service levels and
efficiency. - Conduct performance reviews, providing key metric analysis, reporting and business insights to customers.
- Identify and capitalise on business expansion opportunities within your
customer's portfolio. - Create, implement and continually develop customer plans centred around
their success. - Address operational escalations and support day-to-day operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum one year in a customer-facing role within a freight/logistics/supply chain or 4PL environment.
- In-depth understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of the
Australian freight and logistics sector. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with excellent
analytical and reporting skills. - A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex data.
- Flexible team player eager to support across functions and contribute to a
positive workplace culture.
