The Opportunity
This position will put you at the forefront of a thriving division and will require a versatile individual to be the spearhead of maintenance services Sydney.
With you at the helm, you will bring your vast knowledge and experience to motivate your crews on the ground, build up your client base and bring new ideas and innovations to the business.
You will have self-motivated Team Leaders already embedded in the business who are keen to have a manager to learn from and collaborate with. They are someone you can lean on to share the load and assist you with making great things happen!
The Role
It goes without saying that you will receive full guidance, training and development in the initial stages, and then you will spread your wings and make this role your own:
- Scheduling maintenance work
- Building relationships with new and existing clients
- Quoting for maintenance contracts
- Managing crews and visiting various sites
- Procuring new materials, equipment and resources
- Collaborating with the Director
- Delegating tasks to your Team Leaders
- Budgets and forecasts
- Hiring new crew members
- Some on-the-tools work
- Certificate III in Parks & Gardens / Horticulture
- 3-5 years in a Maintenance Supervisor or similar position
- Experience managing crews on commercial sites
- Drivers License
