Accounts Manager
The construction of a brand-new, purpose-built workshop for major mining equipment projects is open at Alfabs in Kurri Kurri, NSW! Due to consistent growth across the Alfabs Group we have a newly created role for motivated and ambitious Account Manager to join the Alfabs team.
Alfabs Mining is based in Kurri Kurri, 15 minutes straight through from Cameron Park or 30 minutes to Raymond Terrace, Singleton or Warners Bay, this centralised location will ensure you cut significantly reduce your drive time, giving you more time to find that work life balance!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer service and collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Coordinate and manage team activities, demonstrating strong leadership.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer account management, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Handle challenging client requests and escalations, as well as negotiate contracts to maximise profits.
- Analyse data sets to identify improvement opportunities and create effective projection and forecasting reports.
- Develop trusted relationships with key account clients.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of services and products.
- Provide commercial expertise, communicate progress to stakeholders, and identify new business opportunities.
- Forecast and track key account metrics and provide accurate reporting.
- Assist with the management of claims, amendments, and variations to contracts.
About you:
- Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
- Experience in the underground mining industry or similar, desirable.
- Experience in customer support, Customer service or account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and review skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commercially pragmatic with an aptitude for finding solutions in a complex environment
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Are a motivated self-starter
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office
- Experience with BusinessCraft (accounting software) will be advantageous.
