AddressWe have an opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced Account Receivable Lead to join AE Smith, working on some of Australia’s most iconic and critical assets and be part of fantastic team with supportive leaders and an inclusive culture.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure the day-to-day delivery of all accounts receivable tasks. You will manage a portfolio of customers, as well as provide leadership to the Account Receivable Officers to ensure that accurate receipting and allocation of customer payments is actioned accurately and in a timely manner.
Your responsibilities will include full function Accounts Receivable, work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputed debts, receipt customer payments, raise credit notes, ensure invoices and customer statements are issued efficiently and lead, coach and develop the Accounts Receivable team. You will possess a strong work ethic, achieve the highest level of safety and quality of work, and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service.
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated Account Receivable experience in a Mechanical service business
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts receivable principles
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with ERP Systems and banking platforms (SAP preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Minimum of 5 years Accounts Receivable experience
