With our Japanese Desk Service in Australia, we work closely with Japanese companies and provide tailored workforce solutions including permanent and contract staffing, recruitment process outsourcing and payroll outsourcing primarily to Japanese companies across Australia.
Our client is a Japanese energy company, and they are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join their Sydney office. This role involves handling a wide range of HR tasks and contributing to the overall human resources strategy of the organization.
About the role:
Process invoice data entry in accounting system (SAP)
Process employees' reimbursement claims and assist employees with their queries
Review purchase requisitions & issue purchase orders (SAP)
Manage cash movement in all Bank accounts (35 bank accounts)
Manage invoice / expense claim system and involve in the improvement for the process (approximately 100 invoices/month, approximately 25 expense claims/month)
Process project cash call payments and relevant procedures such as Inter-Co transfer
Process invoice issuing and manage accounts receivable
Prepare general ledger reconciliations for assigned accounts/entities
Improve AP/AR workflow
Undertakes other related tasks and duties as assigned by VP FinanceManage and perform the daily routine functions of the Human Resources department.
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following:
Qualifications in Accounting or related discipline
Relevant accounting (AR/AP) work experience is highly preferred but fresh graduate are also welcome!
Interested and understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese speaking skill will be an advantage
Must be computer literate including reasonable understanding of Excel and accounting software skills, SAP will be a plus
Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
