Accounts Receivable Officer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable guru to join Huon’s Hobart Office in the role of Accounts Receivable Officer. Join a small, passionate team invested in career development.

The role

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of Accounts Receivable functions. Showing initiative and a willingness to learn will see you be successful in this role.

As Accounts Receivable Officer, you will:

• Analyse and action collections and risk to enhance the company’s cashflow.
• Undertake thorough reconciliations, assessments and reporting efficiently.
• Be a point of contact for customer enquiries and follow up on remittance advices and deductions as required in a timely manner.
• Build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including major retail customers.

 About you

• You have relevant qualifications in Accounts Receivable with experience in reconciliation.
• You’re a confident communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Your organisation and multi-tasking skills are a strength, as is your ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• You have the willingness to learn and respond to feedback with a growth mindset.
