Accountant

• 3-month contract with a leading medical device company that values career progression

This role reports to the Financial Accounting Manager and was created to help with a project. 

Key duties include: 

• Accurate completion of month end processes including journals and general ledgers reconciliations 
• Execution of financial and operational reports 
• Data analysis of general ledger reconciliations 
• System maintenance and data cleansing and reconciling 
• Extracting data and developing relevant reports 
• Project work with their system implementation 
• Continuous improvement of current transaction processing 
• Risk management 

This role is suitable for a CA/CPA qualified candidate with 3 + years of experience in a similar role who has strong technical skills. The ideal candidate is proficient in Power BI and TM1 and is confident in hitting the ground running. In person you will be hands-on, work well under pressure, a self-starter and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
