AddressAccountant position available (6-month contract, to perm)
Our Sydney based accounting and M&A advisory firm is going through a significant growth phase. We need your support to keep the momentum going.
The accounting and tax side of the business is highly systemised and ready for any good accountant to jump in and start supporting our early stage companies and large mature business clients through their funding and cash flow challenges as well as their exit goals.
The available position is a 6-month contract with the view to go permanent for the right person.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum qualification, Advanced Diploma of Accounting (TAFE)
- Three to four years’ experiences within a professional accounting practice, in a business services and tax role
- Understanding the current ATO tax legislation, principles and reporting requirements
- Working knowledge of GST, BAS and IAS’s.
- Excellent knowledge of Xero and Class Super or BGL
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, with strong skills in Excel
- Experience in preparation of complex individual, company, trust, partnership
- Experienced payroll admin > processing pays > doing all the reporting that goes with it
- Experience with preparation of SMSF financial statements and tax returns is advantageous but non-essential

This role is offered on a contract basis, with the view to offer a permanent position should you wish to join our team ongoing. Ideally, this position is offered full time, but could provide a 4 day work week to the right candidate.
We work in fresh clean offices located near shops, cafes and the train station. Parking is free all day across the road from our office.
