SalaryOur client is a global manufacturing business who is continuously at the forefront of their field. Due to growth our client is seeking an Accountant to join their high performing corporate finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager (APAC) you will be involved in planning and supporting the business to deliver the capital budget, maintaining the accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register, and driving improvements in capital forecasting and reporting systems through the implementation of superior controls.
In addition you will be responsible for:
- Ensure precise financial reporting and approvals for IFRS16 lease arrangements.
- Efficiently supervise both internal and external auditors to facilitate a streamlined audit process.
- Facilitate and work with the businesses to bring together the annual capital budget.
- Consolidate the monthly capital forecast and work with teams on forecast accuracy.
- Drive improvement of systems around capital spend approvals, reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Contribute to timely and accurate month-end close
- CA or CPA qualified
- Experience from Big 4 or complex large commercial environments
- Sound communication skills to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of and ability to apply accounting standards and other financial reporting requirements
