About the role
This is a challenging & rewarding role, which will see you progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support and technical exposure.
You will partner with a diverse client base, being primarily responsible for the management, development & administration of a range of accounting solutions. This entails providing advice, responding to client queries, preparing financial statements and management reporting.
Furthermore, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Producing & maintaining financial reports, using Xero and Reckon APS
- Preparation of management accounts, cash flow reports and annual financial reports
- Reviewing and interpreting relevant files
- Preparing BAS returns
- Preparation of management reports for clients
- Preparing tax returns & financial statements for different business entity types
- Calculating and reconciliation of payroll tax
- Assisting with the development of junior colleagues
About you
The ideal candidate will demonstrate established accounting experience, with a relevant tertiary qualification and will be studying/aspiring to CA or CPA qualifications. You will possess a good technical knowledge and ability to generate financial statements & management reports, as well as being able to confidently communicate the contents to clients. Ideally, you will be a proactive and personable person, who has a high level of attention to detail and big plans for your future!
