Our aim is to recruit a professional Office Manager to lead our admin team. Someone who is experienced and capable of running our Bathroom Renovation office/warehouse like clockwork. Leading a small team to improve administrative and operational processes, ensuring projects are managed meticulously and that every customer has a positive experience (especially when issues arise).
Location/Work Schedule: Full time position working a minimum 38 hours per week. The office is based in Birtinya. Some room for negotiation for flexible hours

You will lead the office and administrative function. It’s not only day to day management of renovation projects and all of the essential functions, but also being confident and proactive in implementing improvements as you go.

The Shower Dr is an Australian owned, highly reputable shower repair company operating in key markets of QLD since 2014. Showers have a limited useful life. Eventually over time showers will deteriorate, leak and inevitably need repair. Shower Dr has tapped into this repair market and developed proven processes for repairing showers at a price that represents excellent value for money.
About the role: The Office Manager position requires dedication as you are responsible for the smooth management of our office/warehouse with a primary focus on providing high-quality service to customers (especially when issues arise).
Duties include:
- Providing high level administrative support to the Management team, the team of tradies and technicians and, other office staff
- Manage all communications with a small office staff. Your team is the first point of contact for new customers, greeting visitors, answering the phone, managing emails and all correspondence
- Managing job bookings and scheduling workflow for shower repair technicians and renovation teams
- Customer service in that you are directly problem solving when situations arise always maintaining professionalism
- Inputing system data with accuracy in the company’s job management software “Builder Trend”
- Maintaining company files, documents, emails and utilising/implementing Office 365 effectively
- Liaising with suppliers, placing orders, receiving goods in the warehouse and managing inventory/supplies
- Managing and develop a range of office processes with limited supervision, ensuring that they are implemented correctly especially Office 365.
- Organise meetings and company events
- Improve the office ergonomics and warehouse flow/storage
- Some bookkeeping tasks in Xero I.e. invoicing, receivables
- Other general tasks as required
DESIRED SKILLS AND CREDENTIALS
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate real work experience and, have some tertiary qualifications in office management, administration, business management etc. Ideally you have experience in the building/trades industry or similar industries. Further to this you would ideally possess the following skills/attributes:
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong office administration, clerical and communication skills
- Experience of developing and maintaining business systems and processes
- Interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Capacity to work independently, meet deadlines, work under pressure and hold yourself accountable for your departments performance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products
- Good understanding of business principles and business operational processes
- Good understanding of accounting principles (we use XERO Accounting)
