A global manufacturer in the sports & recreation market. My client has facilities spread across multiple continents and are associated with some of the world's most recognisable sporting events. They are one of the few vertically integrated manufacturers within their space, providing an end-to-end journey for their many high-profile clients. This role is based in the organisation's regional head office, in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
The role:
Reporting into a high-quality Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a broad set of duties, including:
- Production of consolidated profit and loss reports, providing comprehensive financial overviews.
- Preparation and processing of intercompany recharge invoices, facilitating smooth transactions between different entities.
- Development of weekly cash flow forecasting reports, including intercompany transactions.
- Overseeing cash flow and bank deposits, ensuring optimal cash management practices are maintained.
- Liaising with AR team, monitoring aged debtors.
- Assisting in preparing rolling forecasts against budget and actuals, contributing to strategic planning efforts.
- Helping in preparing information for yearly audits and promptly respond to audit queries.
- Assisting the sales team by promptly and accurately processing credit notes upon request.
- Preparation and updating of sales reports and production output reports for management, aiding informed decision-making.
- Relevant undergraduate studies & commencement of CA/CPA program
- Experience within AP/AR/Payroll and looking to take a step up
- A willingness to learn and progress to the next stage of your career
