About the role:
As an Accountant, you will bring your experience in accounting ideally gained working in a similar role where you have been undertaking tasks such as preparation of income tax returns, business activity statements, bookkeeping and liaising directly with ATO and ASIC.
This role is based in our corporate head office reporting to a team of Partners and is a full-time position in North Sydney. This role will suit those who enjoy accounting, extremely organised, client focused and a self-starter. This role will support the Partners I caring for a portfolio of clients across compliance, assurance and business advisory matters.
If you have experience in MYOB or Xero together with strong excel skills would be highly regarded.
You will be motivated, organised and keen to make a positive contribution.
Skills and experience:
Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as to actively participate in and effectively contribute to a team environment.
- Degree qualified ideally with an accounting degree
- Knowledge of tax legislation and accounting principals
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience to accounting software such as MYOB, Xero
- Exceptional account administration skills
