Accountant role in Public Practice

Key Responsibilities

Some of these include but not limited to:

- Preparing financial statements and reports under the guidance of senior accountants.

- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

-  Reconciling bank statements and other financial documents.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.

- Help ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required.

Qualifications

- Degree qualified accountant

- 3 years experience in a medium sized Public Practice (mandatory)

- CA or CPA qualified or close to finishing

- Strong academic record with a genuine passion for pursuing a career in accounting.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
