Form of workAs Flight Centre's newest accountant you will have broad knowledge across Leisure businesses, and be adept at handling specialised tasks. This role calls for someone with meticulous attention to detail, proactive initiative in issue resolution and efficiency creation, strong time management abilities, and adaptability to changing environments.
This role is currently a 6 month fixed term position. There is the potential for this to be extended depending on business needs at the end of the contract term.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting with wage incentive queries from internal stakeholders
Supporting financial accountants with wage incentive calculations at end of month
Co-ordination and completion of monthly wage incentive audit reviews
Assisting with audit workpaper compilation and queries
Constantly look to improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes
Assist with the implementation of systems and process improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes
Who you are:
Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel and Powerpoint -Intermediate level required
- Strong technical knowledge
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
Completed Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar or studying towards, or current Flight Centre Store Network Consultant
