Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries, quotation requests and orders via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
- Solve simple customer problems and report all customer complaints and analyse Customer Service requirements and collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Maintain customer contact database and keep field sales personnel updated with customer requirements
- Provide internal support to field service personnel
- Provide internal support to Gladstone manufacturing and warehouse facility personnel
- Expedite customer orders in a proactive manner
- Ensure compliance with company's Health, Safety & Environmental policies and legislative requirements
- Any other duties as reasonably directed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Customer Service software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to deal with pressure in a dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- A good standard of education is required with a minimum of year 10 education
