About the Role:
- Financial Mastery: Contribute to accurate reporting and insightful analysis, including month-end reporting, P&L commentary, and crafting departmental management reports to meet corporate deadlines.
- Exacting Oversight: Maintain meticulous records through month-end journals, GL reconciliations, and vigilant balance sheet oversight, swiftly investigating any irregularities. Play a pivotal role in Quarterly and Year-End Closures, ensuring completion of financial reports and adeptly supporting audits.
- Operational Excellence: Take charge of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for our Australian entity, supervising payroll review, facilitating closing procedures, and seamlessly managing statutory reporting. Guide and assist AP, AR, and Payroll teams while ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Academic and Professional Acumen: Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related field, coupled with a CA or CPA qualification.
- Seasoned Expertise: Bring over 5 years of proven experience in management accounting, with a knack for month-end processes and accounting adjustments like accruals and prepayments. Your sharp analytical skills enable you to pinpoint variances and identify trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & MS Office is a must, with familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, particularly NetSuite and Salesforce, being highly advantageous.
- Holistic Understanding: Knowledge and experience in payroll and employee compensation matters are highly valued, alongside a grasp of local financial services regulations and tax compliance requirements.
