We are an established property development and management company based in Dandenong South. We mainly build commercial properties and have a portfolio of rental commercial properties managed in-house.
An opportunity exists within our company to join the Accounts team. The tasks are varied and include bookkeeping, general administration and assisting the Property Management team as required from time to time.
The successful candidate will join a cohesive team of experienced workers who are wanting to share their skills and knowledge.
Duties:
- Reconciliations (including bank, creditors, rental income and expenses, and body corporate fees)
- Data entry and bookkeeping (using MYOB)
- Preparation of payments on bank platform for approval
- Invoicing
- Email management
- Assisting Senior Accountant as required
- Proactively assisting with rental invoices and arrears
- Assisting with budgets and comparisons
- Assisting with end of month process
- Assisting with Body Corporate entities of the Group, including collection of body corporate fees, budgets and expenses
- Using and maintaining REST Professional property software rent roll and tenancy files
Skills:
- Efficiency and ability to pick up new tasks and systems quickly
- Time management skills
- Experience using MYOB (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Good work ethic, attitude and attendance record a MUST!
