Accounts & Administration Officer (NDIS Sector)

  • Previous NDIS experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Previous invoicing / bookkeeping experience an advantage

About First Choice Plan Management

First Choice Plan Management provides plan management services to NDIS participants Australia-wide. Our office is based on Brighton Road, Somerton Park provides support to participants with an NDIS plan who choose to have their funding plan managed.

Our small, professional team provides supports to NDIS participants and offer a personalised, customer-centred plan management experience.

First Choice Plan Management is looking for a part-time accounts and Administration Officer to join the team working 3 days per week on Wednesday to Friday.

Your responsibilities 

In this role, you will

  • provide administration and invoice entry support
  • process our participants invoices in a timely and accurate manner to ensure prompt payment to their providers.  Attention to detail and accuracy is required due to the complexity of many invoices
  • understanding of the NDIS Pricing Arrangement and Price Limits is ESSENTIAL, to ensure invoices are processed within the NDIS guidelines.  
  • answer email and phone queries regarding invoices and liaise with our plan managers, support coordinators, NDIS participants and providers invoice queries

Your Skills & Experience

  • knowledge and / or understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is ESSENTIAL, please only apply if you have worked in the NDIS industry previously
  • experience working with invoice entry and budgets, strong attention to detail and accuracy.  First Choice Plan Management is responsible for NDIS participants funds and a high level of accuracy is required for all invoice entries.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to juggle multiple tasks is essential in this role
  • solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook
  • as you will be working in the NDIS sector, a NDIS Worker Screening & Working with Children clearance will be required
