About the role:
The Accounts Assistant provides support to the accounting and finance department by performing a range of financial transactional processing and expenses review tasks. This role helps maintain accurate financial records, assists in financial analysis and expenses control, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and check staff reimbursement expenses claims in the OA (payment application system), verifying the invoice/receipts against the supporting document and company policies.
• Communicate, follow up and resolve with requestor/claimant for any discrepancies or queries of the staff reimbursement expenses claims.
• Communicate, follow up and resolve with requestor for any discrepancies or queries of the corporate credit card expense statement in the OA (payment application system).
• Support administrative tasks related to corporate credit card.
• Process parts credit notes in a timely manner.
• Process parts costing and enter parts invoices in the accounts payable system in a timely manner.
• Support financials month end closing.
• Support fixed asset count and stock count.
• Compile data for periodic financial reviews and audits.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to the finance department, such as filing, data organization, and document management.
• Other duties as and when assigned by the Finance Manager
Skills and Experience:
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred with at least 1 year work experience.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skill
