We are one of Australia's leading suppliers and distributors for stone & porcelain surfaces. We are seeking a motivated Accounts Assistant & Admin to join our fast and dynamic team with a great culture.
About the Role
This role is preferably suited for someone based in the South-Eastern Melbourne region. You need to have your vehicle to commute to work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate or provide the following:
Qualifications & experience required
- University degree e.g. Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent (preferred)
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an Accounting function
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, mainly Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with MYOB / XERO / QuickBooks or equivalent
- Language requirement: proficient in Mandarin
- We have a senior position available for candidates who have previous experience operating Oracle NetSuite. It's not compulsory, but highly regarded.

Approx 80% of this role (Accounting duties)
- All-rounder Accounting function including AR, AP, Credit Control, Inventory, Payroll, and managing the day-to-day accounting transactions
- Reconciliation, preparation, and lodgement of monthly BAS
- Liaising with the external Accountant for annual accounts and tax queries
- Other accounts related duties
- Training will be provided
Approx 20% of this role (Showroom duties)
- Deliver excellent customer service to meet and greet customers, training will be provided.
