Role Highlights
Omaxe Homes is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Epping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and managing accounts payable and receivables. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our projects and ensure accurate financial records.

The role is full time role working Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivables processes, including invoice processing, vendor and trade payments, and customer invoicing.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Collaborate with construction and sales team to resolve financial discrepancies and address any accounting-related issues.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience working as an accountant, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and basic MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
