Billbergia is an established and leading property development company well known for its award-winning projects in NSW & QLD. As a result of our growth and success we are seeking an Accounts Clerk to take ownership of a critical role within our support and finance teams.
This newly created, accounts opportunity will see you join a small team and you will play pivotal role in providing comprehensive support in both accounts and administration functions.
Reporting to Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Bank Entries/Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, Timesheet Management, Procurement and other miscellaneous Accounts duties.
- Processing invoices, bills and payments accurately and efficiently
- General data entry
- Monitoring and tracking monthly expenditure
- Maintain orderly financial filing system
- Assist in month end accounts preparation
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks when required
- Other administrative tasks and accounting projects as required
- Generating reports as required
- Handling customer enquiries – phone/email/in-person and prepare suitable solutions
Your skills, attributes and abilities include:
- 2+ years Basic Accounting / Bookkeeping experience is preferable
- Accounting Degree / Bookkeeping TAFE (or part Qualified)
- Strong computer literacy skills especially excel
- Experience using accounting software is a must such as MYOB
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills
- Excellent communicator – verbal and written
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and able to work in a team environment
- A strong understanding of customer service
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- High capacity for multitasking
