The Role 

We are looking for an Accounts Officer (Honcho) to join our friendly team. 

This role involves accounts payable and accounts receivable duties primarily; 

• Manage accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices and payments  
• Processing credit card expenses, verifying documentation 
• Manage accounts receivable, including following up outstanding debts 
• Data entry and reconciliation of freight/ courier bills 
• Efficient payment of bills and invoices, including accurate record management  
• Use of Myob software  
• Providing admin support to Directors and sales team   

To be successful in this position you should possess the following: 

• Experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail 
• Be positive, have a resilient attitude and the willingness to work autonomously and as part of a team 
• Great verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines  
• Experience with Myob (or comparable), Excel & Word essential 
• Experience in the construction sector a bonus
