Journey is actively seeking a seasoned Field Service/Workshop Technician to join a well-established and expanding company located in the Perth area. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in workshop duties and servicing EWP equipment. Additionally, a strong attention to detail and prior experience in similar roles will be highly valued.
The primary responsibilities of this position include performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of EWP equipment both on site and within the workshop setting. The role also involves addressing and resolving equipment breakdowns and repairs.
The role will be full-time, Monday to Friday working a 38-hour week with overtime on breakdowns.
Your duties will also include:
- Carry out 10yr major over-haul of EWP equipment.
- Respond to and carry out breakdown repairs.
- Safe use and care of tools, vehicles, plant, and equipment.
- Workshop duties - including but not limited to, cleaning machines, safety checks and ordering parts.
Qualifications and experience:
- Trade qualification - preferred but not essential
- Must have extensive EWP (Elevated Work Platform) servicing experience (Genie, JLG and Skyjack).
- Hydraulic, and Electrical maintenance experience
- Fault finding and diagnostics experience
- Must have EWP License.
- C Class driver’s license essential (HR driver’s License desirable).
- Forklift License desirable.

- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols.
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
- Pass a pre-employment medical assessment for physical labour and drug & alcohol test.
