An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Total Tools team within JMJ Group of stores as an Accounts Officer, based at our Total Tools Mt Waverley Store. This position will suit an experienced and vibrant accounts specialist. You will have experience working with various stakeholders and are comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
What will you be doing?
- Managing end to end Accounts Payable
- Liaising with suppliers, customers, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure a highly accurate and timely processing of accounts
- Process supplier invoices and claims
- Prepare payments e.g. weekly, mid-month and end of month
- Ensure correct settlement discounts and payment terms are adhered to
- Monthly supplier reconciliations
- New customer applications
- Roll ledgers
- Review of purchase order/goods received not invoiced/goods in transit reports and action where required
- Ensure supplier database details are up to date and correct
- Monitor and process rebate claims to tight deadlines, in conjunction with stores
- Attending to internal/external enquires
Does this sound like you?
- Proven end-to-end accounts payable experience
- Comfortable working with various internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to build relationships
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work through competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with technology – intermediate MS Suite skills are a must, with a strong understanding of MS Excel
