Our Client is an industry leader in Equipment Supply across Australia and New Zealand. Due to continued growth across their business, a newly created role for an Accounts Officer to join a supportive team.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Officer will be a key contributor to the efficient delivery of finance functions across the business. You will posses a great attention to detail with a focus on excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end fixed asset register and managing spare parts inventory
Performing bank account reconciliations
Periodic reporting using Power BI and MS Office
Calculating and processing monthly journals
Invoice preparation and business activity statements
Assist in the annual budget
Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping or equivalent relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in a Accounting position and knowledgeable in using MYOB
Sound accounting knowledge and numerical aptitude
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
