The Organisation
Our Client is a rapid growing national company who boast a reputable culture and high-performing business. Due to growth of the business, the company is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is flexible to cater for 4-5 days per week and is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a welcoming and fast-paced environment within a respectable company.
Position Description
Working autonomously and reporting through to the Finance Manager and Operations Manager, your role will include:
- Payment runs
- Processing invoices
- Statement and bank reconciliations
- Following up on outstanding payments
- Handling the accounts mailbox
- Supporting the broader finance team
- Assisting with project management administration
- Assisting with month end
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, along with the following attributes:
- Experience using Xero highly advantageous
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Motivated and reliable attitude
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
