About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be a key member of the Finance department and be responsible for the accurate and timely data entry and functions relating to all debtor requirements as well as other financial administrative and clerical support. This role can be based at either of our Brisbane or Kingaroy offices. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Receive and verify invoices and purchase orders for goods and services
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policy & procedures
- Data entry of purchase orders, invoices and receipt of payments
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and financial procedures
- Liaising with creditors regarding any account enquiries or concerns
- Process fortnightly batch payments to GEC suppliers
- Send out supplier remittances once payments have been processed
- Compile supplier payment reports for review and approval
- Assist with end-of-month financial procedures
- Processing end-of-month batch payments
To be successful in this role you must hold the following traits, skills and qualifications:
- Level 2 qualification in Administration preferable
- Experience in accounts payable/receivable
- Experience in data entry and management
- Experience in Microsoft Suite & Systems based software
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Procedural driven
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in entering financial information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial files
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Possess Strong time management skills
