The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager role plays a pivotal role in optimising and streamlining internal support functions to improve efficiency, foster innovation and enhance service quality. The role will be responsible for;
- Leading Accounts Payable Team Leaders;
- Leading Project Specialists;
- Ensuring the team is resourced;
- Recommending and being involved in process efficiencies and changes;
- Managing escalations from internal and external stakeholders; and
- Supporting the Financial Controller.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in a similar role capacity, for a large, multi-site Australian business;
- Experience managing a large Accounts Payable or shared services function and team;
- Experience managing teams both onshore and offshore;
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience using multiple ERP systems and Excel; and
- Experience managing projects and ongoing process and system improvement.

This is a permanent, full time position, based in the Brisbane head office. A generous salary is on offer, as well as a bonus scheme.
