Alita Sales, distributors of some of Australia’s leading beauty and health brands have a vacancy for an Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable and Payroll processes of the organisation. This role requires you to be in the office. However, we do recognise the importance of family and support you in those times when you require flexibility.
Key accountabilities include:
- Accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier bills, and monthly reconciliation to supplier statements.
- Manage the Expense Management system (Serko Zeno) including user/approver maintenance, upload of expenses to Netsuite and reconciliation to credit card statement.
- Accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll and payment of PAYGW obligations to the ATO.
- Reconciliation and processing of Superannuation on a monthly basis.
- Calculation of discount claims and brokerage commissions for multiple brands.
- Preparation, lodgement and payment of monthly and annual Payroll Tax returns, and monthly Business Activity Statement.
- Assistance with monthend journals, P&L review and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and providing backup to the Accounts Receivable Officer when required.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Assistant position or similar.
- Business/Accounting qualification, desirable.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence dealing with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Strong systems experience – Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams), Xero Payroll, Netsuite, an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organised, self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and a ‘can do’ attitude.
