The role will involve managing a team of 3 and driving success within a collaborative, supportive and high-performing team. The business is about to Go-Live with a new system and has growth plans so it is an exciting time to join.
Our client is open to candidates who are available immediately or who have 4-weeks notice periods.
The Responsibilities
- Leading a team of 3 Accounts Payable Officers
- Managing the overall Accounts Payable function
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (internally and externally)
- Mentoring and developing team performance
- Liaising with suppliers and performing month-end reconciliations
- GL coding, payment execution and journaling.
- Driving process improvement within the Accounts Payable function
- Experience in a similar Accounts Payable leadership/Team Lead position
- Ideally previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics or another large ERP system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong month-end and year-end reporting experience
- Experience with process improvement and driving change.
- Proficiency in excell
