My client is a tier 1 business in their industry - a newly created opportunity has come available to join as an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead / Supervisor level, looking after a small team, reporting and continuous improvement.
You will be joining a scaling business, collaborative & hard working environment.You will be leading the Accounts Payable & Receivable function nationally, to ensure timely & accurate payments to suppliers. You will have the responsibility of overseeing and developing the team, improving processes / procedures to drive efficiency and best practice.Location: CBD | hybrid working
REM: $110,000 - $125,000 plus super upwards (experience dependant)Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the establishment and implementation of policies, processes and systems, and identify areas for improvement
• Document, manage and improve best practice policies
• Ensure appropriate payment approvals have been obtained in line with DOA
• Monitoring aging reports to track outstanding receivables and taking actions to minimise overdue payments
• Provide recommendations and relevant information to management to enable informed decisions about suppliers, payments and cash flow

Job requirements:

• 4-5+ years working experience in a similar role
• Experience in people management (off-shore would be beneficial)
• Jobpac or CHEOPS experience (beneficial)
• Proactive & positive attitude
• Excellent communication (written & verbal)
• Proven experience with process improvement
