Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position Overview:

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our financial operations. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of Accounts Receivable, processing invoices, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies. This position offers the chance to work with a talented and dedicated team, contributing to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process customer invoices promptly and accurately
2. Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure timely payments
3. Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and discrepancies
4. Generate and distribute monthly financial statements to clients
5. Perform routine audits on accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
6. Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
7. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed
8. Basic weekly payroll functions

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
3. Excellent organisational and time-management skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
5. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., MYOB) essential
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
