We are currently seeking applications from a dynamic, motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dedicated and busy Accounts Receivable Department in our Osborne Park Laboratory in a Part time role.
As an essential member of the team, your primary responsibilities of this role are:
- Timely and accurate processing of payments in high volume environment.
- Processing of cash, cheque, and credit card payments received daily.
- Generating invoices, reminders, and accounts letters.
- Answering Accounts Receivable phone calls and assisting patients with their account enquiries.
- Check with doctor/clinic for any unclear or missing information required for Accounts Receivable
- Liaising with Medicare and Health Funds to obtain information needed for invoicing.
- Give quotes for testing to patients following the standard protocol.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Certificate in Business Administration, Finance or similar relevant qualification.
- Sound interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with patients/customers, external parties and all levels of staff in a professional manner.
- Excellent computer skills.
- High level of attention to detail and numeracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and also autonomously.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, and ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work and maintain performance in a pressured environment.
Desirable selection criteria:
- Previous Accounts Receivable experience.
- Experience in healthcare is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Hours for this position are 45 hours per fortnight working Monday to Wednesday between 7.30am and 5.00pm.
