Accounts Receivable Officer

Kinetic Logging Services Pty Ltd is a division of EPIROC and is a leading supplier of geophysical services in Australia, with offices in Perth, Newman and Brisbane.

We provide a Unique and Flagship service to the Mining Industry called OreSight! OreSight is a Semi Autonomous Vehicle, that operates under one of our Field Engineers to collect Geophysical Data for our clients. 

So what does that mean? It means, our tools within our vehicles analyse what type of material/measures the density, down each Blast Holes in Pit Production sites and Exploration sites. 

We are seeking an adaptable and results-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team in Kewdale on a part-time basis (3 days per week)!

The Role:

This is a permanent position that plays an important part in our accounts/finance department! 

The mission of the Accounts Receivable Officeris to ensure that the business' finances are managed effectively and that customers are billed correctly. You will also also work with other departments within the organisation to ensure that all financial transactions are carried out effectively and efficiently!

Key responsibilities:

• Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data;
• Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures;
• Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges;
• Matching payments to invoice numbers or sales orders;
• Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues;
• Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files;
• Submitting daily/weekly/monthly reports to management on Accounts Receivable operations;
• Raising and sending invoices to customers;
• Posting payments to customer accounts;
• Tracking overdue invoices and following up on them;
• Update weekly customer payments for cash flow forecast; 

About You:

The successful candidate will be a results-oriented problem-solver who is driven and flexible. Attention to detail, developed communication skills and integrity are crucial!

Skills Required:

• Qualification in Accounting, Business studies, Finance or Economics;
• 3+ years’ experience in large volume Accounts Receivable Team;
• Pronto experience or comparable finance system;
• Relevant experience with complex Accounts Receivable/collection issues;
• High level of accuracy;
• Confidentiality;
• Effective verbal and written Communication skills;
• Highly developed Interpersonal Skills;
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work cooperatively in a team environment;
