About this exciting opportunity:
  
Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, this position is responsible for cultivating and sustaining positive relationships with a diverse internal and external stakeholder base including sales teams, business operations, and key customers.
  
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will lead a team of Accounts Receivable officers, overseeing day-to-day operations, providing leadership and mentorship, as well as the management of escalations within the Retail collection team. You will play a critical role within the wider Finance Department, so strong interpersonal skills are essential. Key to your success will be ensuring high performance across the team and an ongoing commitment to continuous process and system improvement.

You will have the following Skills, Experience and Attributes:  

• Tertiary education in accounting, commerce or finance, or equivalent work experience as Senior AR Officer/Supervisor. An AICM qualification is mandatory.
• Experience working in complex organisations in manufacturing or distribution industries.
• Previous experience directly managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process.
• You will have experience managing direct reports, strong leadership qualities and enjoy mentoring teams to achieve objectives.
• You have either actively led or participated in process improvement initiatives for the AR department.
• Highly driven and committed to providing exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
• Superior ability to work as part of a team as the leader but also in a hands-on capacity managing your own ledger.
• Able to quickly pick up new software systems and confidently work across multiple platforms (experience working on Pronto, Phocas and Salesforce is desirable)
