The client
This large US multinational has recently acquired a substantial new division and increases in business volumes have created a new opportunity for a AR Supervisor to join an established credit team.
Our client supports the health and well-being of consumers across the world and their brand is well-known within their niche business.
The role
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will spend time learning the credit processes, before taking on responsibility for managing either functions or staff, working in the team of 5 other experienced Credit Officers.
The responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- receiving training on the complex nature of the business, with a view to taking on increasing responsibilities as your knowledge expands.
- managing full function credit, including high volumes of collections calls.
- taking on increasing volumes of escalated credit issues and day to day operational matters, to allow the Credit Manager to focus on projects.
- supporting the Credit Manager with the integration of the newly acquired business.
- supporting the Credit Manager to drive process improvement within the team.
The candidate
In order to be successful you will have:
- more than 5 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable or credit controller role.
- recently managed AR Officers and be looking to further develop your leadership skills.
- a willingness to initiate process improvement and support others through change.
- permanent resident status or be an Australian citizen to enable you to complete the contract assignment and be consider for a potential transition to a permanent role.
The rewards
We are offering $45 per hour plus superannuation. In addition, a $5K retention bonus will be paid to incentivise you to complete the assignment. The company and team environment is supportive and staff amenities are superb. Onsite parking is available or Mascot train station is a short walk. Two days WFH will be offered, after induction.
