THE OPPORTUNITY

Ensuring all processes are streamlined for efficiency and team members are appropriately skilled for their roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, liaising with customers to clear overdue payments.
Monitor assigned retail customer accounts to ensure Past Dues are minimised.
Prepare monthly collections strategy and review customer payment trends.
Recommend issuance of Letters of Demand and Repossession Notices as appropriate.
Undertake skip tracing to confirm borrower’s current address, when and where the asset is stored to increase the Repossession Agent’s chances of recovering the asset.
Partner with cross functional teams to identify development solutions/training and streamline processes.
Assist Manager with regular follow up and management reporting of customer residual debts following loan foreclosures.
Prepare aged trial balances to be presented and assist in coordinating repossession activities.
Monitor transactions and customer interaction for any signs of suspicious activity.
ABOUT YOU
Experience liaising with vehicle repossession agents or ex Repossession/Commercial Agent experience advantageous.
Previous experience in debt and loss recovery.
Demonstrated positive stakeholder management capability.
Superior problem-solving skills and people skills.
Excellent negotiating skills
Ability to think on your feet and display patience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, along with a positive attitude are a necessity for this role.
