As a direct report to the Head of Finance, and an integral member of the Finance Team, you will be a motivated, highly organised and a technically strong professional who will form an integral part of the KTrans family, and embody the Five Pillar Values of Accountability, Discipline, Pride, Honesty and Loyalty.
This is an opportunity for an experienced AP officer to join a successful and energetic team within a stable family owned transport company. This is a dynamic and fast paced role which has scope to grow as you do in the company.
The role is responsible for:
Enter all supplier invoices / match up purchase orders and reconcile monthly statements
Manage Supplier Invoices for 7/14/30 day account to be paid by due date
Prepare monthly payment runs for subcontractors and communicate remittance advices
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Entry of Fuel dockets, usage and reconciliations against EOM Statements
Assist in gathering information for EOM Accruals.
Assist in preparation for monthly, quarterly and yearly audits.
Process on charges as required and reconcile
Management of the invoice acceptance in HUBDOCS, printing, entering into HUBDOCS, posting into XERO
Assist and support the finance team as required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Extensive experience within AP roles
Proven experience in a similar role with minimum 5 years' experience
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Intermediate to Advanced Experience with Xero (preferred)
Strong customer service
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong time management and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to work to deadlines and put in extra effort when needed
