The Role:
- Full-time permanent role
- Accounts Team Leader
- Fully on-site in the Western suburbs of Melbourne - Free parking
- Be a part of a small finance team and report into the Financial Controller
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the efficient running and functioning of the Accounts team
- Effectively communicate with Senior Management and Ops teams
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile customer invoice system with accounting software system
- Maintain a clean and reconciled Balance Sheet
- Ensure accounting procedures are followed throughout operations
- Lead the month-end close process ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported
Key Requirements:
- Have proven analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Experience using QuickBooks Online is an advantage
- Looking for someone with high attention to details and problem solving skills
- Ideally comes with a background in a small to mid-sized organisation
- Team leading experience
