ACTING ASSOCIATE MIDWIFERY UNIT MANAGER- Antenatal/Postnatal Ward- Maternity Leave positions
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Amazing opportunity to join our progressive leadership team at Mercy Hospital for Women, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. Our antenatal / postnatal unit consist of 50 beds.
- Multiple Fixed Term positions available
- Option for Part Time or Full Time minimum 0.5 EFT
- Exposure to a wide variety of clinical scenarios
- Future opportunities to work across the scope of Midwifery practice
- Extensive ongoing educational opportunities including free workshops and seminars (e.g., RANZCOG, PROMPT, neoResus)
- Requires work across all rostered shifts (including night duty)
- Salary is in line with the Enterprise Agreement and will be based on your years of experience
ABOUT YOU:
You will have sound clinical skills, good time management and organisational skills and have;
- Motivated and passionate about supporting team members to provide safe women centred care
- Registration as a Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Level 3 RANZCOG or working towards
- Credentialed to IV cannulation and preform Discharge Examination of the Newborn
